I tried for years to have the perfect, budget and ended up just being frustrated. Our lives change so much that we have to constantly be making adjustments to our budgets.

I read that our water bill will be increasing by $1.00 in July. I totaled the water bill over the last year to see if the average was still within the amount in our budget. It was actually running a dollar less. Therefore, I will not adjust that category.

When it comes to budgeting, it’s okay to work on it one “Babystep” at a time.
