I would love to have a mudroom, or even a built-in cabinet, but I did not have the space. We only had six inches to work with.

We had a carpenter build a shelf with hooks on it. Each family member got a hook for their coat and a spot for their hat and gloves on the shelf. There is a boot tray on the floor for wet boots.
